36th National Games, 2022
Gujarat

The 36th National Games, India’s prestigious multi-sport event, was hosted by Gujarat in 2022. Held in 18 Venues across 7 cities, the event showcased almost 7,700 athletes competing in 36 different sports disciplines. The theme of the 2022 games was ‘Celebrating Unity Through Sports’ and the mascot was named Savaj, which means lion cub in Gujarati.

Working closely with the Sports Authority of Gujarat (SAG), Sports Authority of India (SAI), Indian Olympic Association (IOA) and the National Sports Federations, the Collage Design Technical team ensured venue readiness across all the host cities. We identified the most optimum venue for each sport and prepared a Detailed Upgradation plan, Field of Play (FoP) Layout and Overlay Mappings for all sports, with operational flows and circulation planning to incorporate the competition requirements for each sport.
