Jio Athletic HPC
Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra

In partnership with the Reliance Foundation, the Jio Institute has launched a High Performance Centre for Athletics to uplift the sporting ecosystem in the country through specialised training under world-class infrastructure. The aim is to nurture talent and prepare athletes to perform internationally. The Conceptual Programming, Masterplanning and Comprehensive Architecture for the Jio HPC have been developed by Collage Design.

In compliance with the World Athletics Rules, Class II Athletic Track and Field along with separate warm up facilities have been created. The 400m Track has 8 Oval Lanes and 8 Straight Lanes for 100m and 110m hurdles. An Uphill Training facility was introduced as the outcome of discussions with the training Coach. The track has been installed with Junction (Com) Boxes at various locations for recording the data of the athletes. With a focus on those who specialise in sprints, jumps and throws, facilities for Steeplechase, Long and Triple Jump with landing area, a combined facility for Discus and hammer Throw, Javelin, Shot Put and Pole Vault, along with many others have been developed. The Jio Athletic centre HPC provides all facilities, including Accommodation, Nutrition, Medical help, Training (Technical and Tactical), Gymnasium, Recovery and Physiotherapy under one roof.
