Amidst the enchanting backdrop of the hilly landscape of Tura in Meghalaya, the Pa Togan Nengminja Sangma Athletics Stadium stands as a symbol of the state’s dedication to nurturing athletic excellence. The Stadium was inaugurated with the 2024 Meghalaya Games. A highly cost-effective low maintenance facility, the PTNS Stadium promises to emerge as a focal point for sporting events across the state for training and completions.
Central to the Stadium Complex design is the 8-lane World Athletics Certified Synthetic Track, featuring Throwing Facilities that hold the prestigious Class 2 Category designation. Complementing the track is a thoughtfully designed players’ space that has been meticulously crafted to meet every need of the athletes. In the next phase, the development of residential and hospitality facilities is envisaged, elevating the overall experience with a touch of comfort and luxury.
