37th National Games, 2023
Goa

Goa played host to the 37th National Games, India’s very own homespun Olympic-style multi-sport event. The Games witnessed almost 10000 athletes compete in a record 43 sports across 5 cities in Goa. The Indian Bison, which is the state animal, was chosen as the official logo and mascot ‘Moga’. As Chief Consultants for Venue Infrastructure, Overlays Design and Planning, we drew from our previous experience of working on similar lines for the National Games Gujarat (2022), Khelo India Youth Games (2023, Madhya Pradesh & 2024, Tamil Nadu), the Khelo India University Games (Uttar Pradesh, 2022) and many other such events.

Our team meticulously planned the design, construction, and management of temporary structures for the National Games in Goa. Optimum venue for each sport was identified and a detailed upgradation plan, Field of Play (FoP) Layout and Overlay Mappings in 18 venues across Goa were prepared. All venues were equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and amenities such as grandstands, training areas, locker rooms, cabins, power & energy, utilities, fencing, flooring, sports lighting, security, media centres, LED screens, TSR integrations and many more. Working closely with the Sports Authority of Goa and the Indian Olympic Association, we ensured that the facilities met the guidelines of the Sports Authority of India and were in compliance with the respective sport federation guidelines.
