The High Performance Centre in Gandhinagar is spearheaded by the Sports Authority of Gujarat (SAG) and emerges as a cornerstone of inclusivity and athletic excellence. At the heart of this endeavour lies facilities that cater specifically to Para Athletes in accordance to their unique needs. More than a training ground, the Inclusive High Performance Centre is a sanctuary where Para Athletes can refine their skills, recover from exertions, and aspire to the pinnacle of sporting success.

With a comprehensive focus on 12 out of the 23 Paralympic sports, the HPC is equipped with cutting-edge infrastructure tailored to optimise performance and elevate standards. Full accessibility design features that include wide pathways, accessible parking, and designated drop-off points, will ensure universal access for the Para Athletes. The Sports Science Centre is designed to enhance performance, injury prevention, and overall health of the athletes. Two Multipurpose Indoor Sports Halls with spectator seating can hold various sports such as Wheelchair Basketball, Table Tennis, and more. The Centre also has Indoor and Outdoor Aquatic Facilities along with a Fitness Centre. Designed in compliance with national and global standards, including the International Paralympic Design Guidelines, the HPC is capable of holding tournaments and events.
