Kalinga Tennis Stadium
Bhubaneswar, Odisha

The recently inaugurated Tennis Stadium is an integral part of the expansive 105 acre multi-sport Kalinga Sports Complex in Bhubaneswar. The addition of this facility will further strengthen the Odisha Sports Ecosystem, and create a roadmap for sustainable high-performance by young Tennis Players of the State to help them excel at National and International Events. Designed to meet the highest standards set by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) for events, our firm was retained as the lead Architecture and Engineering Consultants for the Tennis Stadium.

The centrepiece of the design is an Open Synthetic Centre Court that offers players the best possible playing conditions. Spectator seating that can accommodate up to 1400 people has been created in an open-air setting offering clear views of the court. It also has 8 Practice Courts. In addition, an Aditorium that can seat up to 160 people has been included. It can be used for training sessions, as well as for hosting events such as press conferences and award ceremonies. Adjacent to the Auditorium is a Gymnasium that offers state-of-the-art equipment for players to maintain their fitness levels. Overall, the  Kalinga Tennis Stadium is truly a world-class facility that offers players, fans, and media professionals an exceptional experience.

The Kalinga Tennis Stadium has hosted the ITF Asian U14 Development Championship in 2023 and is capable of hosting matches under the aegis of International Tennis Federation and Asian Tennis Federation.
