The All India Football Federation (AIFF) embarked on a transformative journey with the inception of India’s first ever Centre of Excellence in Football. Sprawled over a 15-acre site, this groundbreaking initiative signifies a bold leap forward in the nation’s sports narrative by creating a facility that stands as a testament to India’s unwavering commitment to footballing greatness. Nestled in the heart of Kolkata, the Centre of Excellence is set to become the nucleus for AIFF’s national teams across all age categories and genders.

The Masterplan by Collage Design includes a High Performance Centre for National Teams, Educational Facilities, Medical Centre of Excellence, Team Hotels, Indoor Futsal Court, Training Fields and Stadium. From fostering elite performance to cultivating grassroots talent, every facet of football development has been covered within the Centre. Boasting futuristic world-class infrastructure, it features Six Pitches, including Three full-size Pitches, a Futsal Pitch, a Mini Pitch, and India’s first-ever Rooftop Pitch. Additionally, the Centre includes dressing rooms equipped with steam, sauna, and therapy rooms, along with a two-storey main building housing administrative and educational facilities. The various components are interconnected with the aim to provide the players a sense of belonging and national pride, which has been the backbone of success for World Cup nations. With a rich heritage of nurturing champions, this cutting-edge facility promises to be a cornerstone in the evolution of Indian Football.
