Envisaged as an open public space, this beautiful amusement and entertainment park is located right at the heart of the city of Visakhapatnam. The design is rooted in easy accessibility for all visitors with themed axial walkways converging at the central plaza with distinct experiences along each path. Jogging tracks, bicycle paths, children’s play areas, water features and themed landscaped gardens make it a year around destination. The addition of an amphitheatre provides a much needed public performance space in the city. Floral and bamboo gardens turn the park into a lush haven. The park also boasts of Andhra Pradesh’s first musical fountain, which also happens to be the third largest in the country. It is a huge tourist attraction with a footfall of more than 3000 visitors on weekends. Recently, an 18-feet bronze statue of ex-chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy was added to the park.
